I am a Commercial Interior Designer with experience working on a number of different project types including education, senior living and LEEDv4 projects. Each design opportunity gives me the chance to better understand people and how they engage with the built environment. I draw from a variety of work and personal experiences when starting a new project, including my time as an educator, working in the retail and service industries, and living in a variety of communities and cultures. What we do as Interior Designers is part anthropologist and part social psychologist. We need a deep understanding of people in order to design interior spaces that are simultaneously functional and weave a beautiful story.
